Most students enter the Philippines as tourists.
For many nationalities, a tourist visa (or visa-free entry) is granted upon arrival.
If you stay longer than 30 days, your tourist visa must be extended before it expires.
The first extension allows an additional 29 days, for a total stay of 59 days.
The visa extension fee is approximately 4,160 PHP.
Our school will assist you with the visa extension process free of charge.
Students studying at an English school in the Philippines are also required to obtain an SSP (Special Study Permit).
The SSP is an official permit issued by the Philippine Immigration Bureau that allows foreign students to study legally while staying in the country as tourists.
- The SSP is valid for up to 6 months.
- The application is processed after arrival.
- Our school will handle the application for you.
Please note that an SSP is required for each school individually and cannot be transferred from another school.
