Real-Life English Course

◆ Speak English in the Real World

Build the confidence to start conversations in English

This practical training program is designed to help students overcome the psychological fear of speaking English.

Many learners study English for years but still feel nervous about talking to strangers in real situations.

The goal of this program is to help students:

  • overcome the fear of speaking,
  • experience successful real communication,
  • and gain confidence using English naturally.

◆ Why Dumaguete is Perfect for This Program

Dumaguete is one of the best places in the Philippines for real-world English practice because:

  • ✔ The city is compact and easy to explore
  • ✔ People are friendly and approachable
  • ✔ English is naturally used in daily life
  • ✔ The environment is safe and relaxed

It is a city where students can comfortably challenge themselves to communicate.

◆ Program Features

① Experience Real english

Students use English in real places around the city, such as:

  • shops,
  • restaurants,
  • universities,
  • churches,
  • and tourist information centers.

This is not classroom role-play — it is real communication.

② Supportive teacher Guidance

Teachers carefully support students throughout the experience.

 Before going out:

  • mission explanation,
  • phrase practice,
  • and conversation preparation.

 During activities:

  • teachers mainly observe and support,
  • while students actively communicate themselves.

Teachers also provide emotional support to help students feel more confident.

③ Turn Experience into real Learning

returning to school, teachers provide detailed feedback, including:

  • vocabulary corrections,
  • grammar support,
  • more natural expressions,
  • and improvement points for next time.

The goal is not just “having an experience,”

but transforming the experience into real communication skills.

Mr. Kenji practices English while visiting Silliman University and asking questions about the campus with a student volunteer.
