2月14日はバレンタインでした！
日本では女性から男性へチョコやプレゼントを渡す日としておなじみですが、ここフィリピンでは、一般的には男性から女性へ愛を伝える日とされています。
ちなみにプレゼントはバラの花が定番なんだとか。
そんなバレンタインデー、ドゥマゲテの街でもたくさんのレストランでスペシャルディナーが開催され、まるでお祭りのように盛り上がります。
今年はウィルでもちょっとしたパーティーを開催しました！
気合入りまくりの飾り付け、さらにはドレスコードの設定まで。先生たちの本気ぶりがうかがえます。
BGMをバックに、パーティーはAva先生とVrianne先生のクールなダンスからスタート。
続いてApple先生の司会のもと、英語を使ったミニゲームをみんなで楽しみました。
さすがパーティー上手なフィリピン人！ 先生たちの盛り上がりに、生徒たちはもはや付いていくだけで精いっぱい！？
いろいろなイベントをその土地の文化で味わえるのも留学の醍醐味です^^

How did you spend your Valentine's Day?
In Japan, Valentine's Day is known as the day when women give gifts to men.
But here in the Philippines, it is generally said to be the day for men to express love to women.
I hear that one of the most popular gifts is a bouquet of roses.
Here in Dumaguete, many restaurants prepared a special dinners for Valentine's Day. The whole town was in a festive mood.
Our academy also held a celebration party.
Our teachers passionately prepared several games, nice background music, and pretty decolations.
Futhermore they set a dress code which revealed our relationship status! (It was a bit embarrassing for us japanese😅)
Anyway, we had so much fun!
